Wild & Woolly

Lotte Literally.
Miss Pickering Wild clematis / Old man's beard. I once used it in an arrangment for a magazine. They didn't like it.

  1. They didn't like it-I love it! Marvelous Miss P.

  2. I have it in my garden and wonder each time I pass by how I could use the lovely little star like pods. Maybe in a brown and white arrangement? Such a waste not to use it.

  3. They are fools, what do they know. Lovely lion, Lotte (or is that too alliterative?)

  4. So glad you all agree on it's merits. It lasts ages too, go out into gardens and hedgerows and attack it with your floral scissors.

  5. Mine died in the unusual "accident" that took out a crepe myrtle tree, a cape jasmine and the clematis. Invasive all three. Me thinks something stinks.

But it's not the lion Lottie.

  6. I see what you were going to do with Mr Beard's face now Miss P....this is much prettier. I think the lion's mane is rather brilliant.
